MZ Series: Replace Black Toner & Waste Toner Bottle

Use this procedure when replacing the black toner on supported Kyocera MZ-series devices.

Black Toner Replacement Procedure

  1. Remove the waste toner bottle and discard it.
  2. Remove the empty black toner bottle.
  3. Rotate the empty black toner bottle 180 degrees.
  4. Insert the empty black toner bottle into the waste toner position.
  5. Insert the new black toner bottle into the device.

Important: Do not throw away the empty black toner bottle until it has been moved into the waste-toner position.
